Vision
At PEACE Academy, we will develop an Inclusive Community of Students, Families, Educators, and other Community Members who celebrate our heritage and culture, who experience a holistic understanding of our impact on this world, and who are exposed to opportunities that widen our perspectives and help us develop a positive awareness of self that prepares us to lead within our communities.
Mission
At PEACE Academy, we Promote Educational and Cultural Empowerment to ensure all of our students are breaking records by ending each year on or above grade level, are gaining exposure to a complete curriculum that has an Afrocentric focus that will push their academic development and strengthen their cultural awareness, and are working in partnership with our community through events and experiences that invite parents into our community.

- Our student population is economically and racially diverse, consistently challenged academically, exposed to new critical thinking experiences, and their culture and heritage is celebrated daily through curriculum choices and school experiences.
- We prioritize hiring anti-racist staff members who demonstrate excellence in their teaching abilities and show a profound love for our students and their identities through their intentionally affirming instructional choices and restorative justice approach to school culture.
- We see our families and the community as core components of our foundation and we provide ample opportunities for them to get involved, seek development, and partner to make informed decisions around their children’s experiences.
