The only inclusive Tuition-Free Public Charter School that provides identity based development for students in grades Kindergarten through 8th in Southeast Metro Atlanta, who educates students to learn the complete truth about our history and the role we play in our communities in an era where curriculum often omits marginalized groups of people.

Rigorous & Inclusive Academic Program

Our students will experience an excellent education from high quality educators and have multiple opportunities to remediation and enrich their learning throughout the year. All students will receive two blocks of literacy daily, as we know reading is the foundation of success in all subjects, and two additional opportunities for targeted support during the week that will not remove them from their Arts and Physical Health courses.

Intentional Cultural Emersion

Every student will receive a Cultural Studies class every day. The foundation of this class will be an Afrocentric Curriculum that will build in additional Multicultural resources so that we successfully support students in their identity development and awareness of self. Our daily curriculum and interactions with staff will help our students develop a full and beautiful picture of themselves so they have the necessary resources needed to combat any misinformation they receive about their identities from society.

Family and Community Centered

Our Families and Communities are at the center of program. Our students will engage in Monthly Field Experiences where they learn from and explore different community organizations and leaders to gain exposure to different colleges, careers, and experiences. Additionally, we will have many opportunities for our families to volunteer within our community and/or to learn what their children are studying and receive support in ways they can continue the learning at home.
